Couture Embroidered Creations and Other Bridal Beauties by Atelier 19-Vintage Inspired Concept Boutique

Joining our very merry flock for the first time this year are the lovely ladies at Atelier 19.

Atelier 19 came to blossom just last year when embroidery specialist and fashion designer Jan realised that brides looking for a more personal wedding experience weren’t being catered too.  Atelier 19 cover everything from the gown itself to those finishing personal details such as embroidery, millinery, jewellery and more. They also cater to Mother of the bride,a guest or indeed anyone looking for something out of the ordinary, Jan and her team are sure to have something for EWE.

What has inspired EWE to come to the Extravaganza?
Atelier 19 opened in October 2016 and is the long held dream of
couture embroiderer Jan Knibbs, bringing together a collective of
designers, including milliner Gemma Sangwine, and offering
a completely EWEnique experience.
The EWE fair stood out as it appeals to brides looking for something special and out of the ordinary. With a background in couture embroidery, theatre design, wearable art, millinery and a shared love of all things vintage, Jan and Gemma can offer a comprehensive service for the bride who wants to stand out from the crowd.

What do EWE love about the show?
Neither of us have been to the show before but we know we’re in
for a treat and can’t wait to meet everyone!!!

What kind of service do you offer and why will it appeal to our
We can cover everything from a vintage or upcycled gown, a couture
embroidered creation or any of the finishing touches you might need for your special day. These include millinery and hairpieces, tiaras made from vintage brooches, jewellery, bags, sashes and even handmade bespoke embroidered shoes.
We cater for the Mums and other guests as well who may want a more
bespoke and personal experience. Our hen parties, vintage make-overs and workshops are also popular events for the bridal party to get together and have some fun in the run up to the big day.

What makes you unique?
We pride ourselves that we are a one stop wedding shop for anyone
looking for something different and totally EWEnique. As we can provide the whole outfit to dress you from head to toe, it makes it so easy to ensure everything co-ordinates. We like nothing better than immersing ourselves completely in your vision to help you realise your dream. We are also adept at putting together the finishing touches, so if you just want a little something for your hair, or corsages for the bridesmaids or groomsmen, we can provide those final flourishes that really tie a look together.

What inspires EWE and your brand/business?
We are a collective of designers so our styles and inspiration vary
slightly, but we are all unified with a love feminine vintage, colour,
and the beauty of the natural world.

How would you describe your business/service/products in three
Couture, bespoke and EWEnique.

What would be your best piece of advice for future brides and
grooms planning their weddings?
Just be yourselves and have the day of your dreams that you will
treasure for ever.
