I’m a Manchester based designer that offers bespoke wedding stationery for couples wanting something different. I started Barrcode design after doing all the wedding stationery for my own wedding in 2014 which was a 50’s themed wedding at a bowling alley in Manchester. Following this I was asked to do invitaions for friends weddings, baby showers and birthday parties and that’s how it all started. I specialise in creating original, fun and unique designs that are personal to the individuals getting married. Invitations, save the dates, table plans, name cards, table decorations……I like to work with bold colours and fonts to create statement stationery.

I was born in Birmingham and graduated from the prestigious Birmingham School of Jewellery in 2000 but the magic really began to happen in 2010 when I moved to the Malvern Hills! The wonderful and beautiful environment that I can see from my window is constantly changing with the seasons and is now the main influence on my designs.
My business has evolved naturally over the last few years, and following a couple of breaks to have babies, I now find myself becoming an established gold and silversmith, and am able to specialise in designing and making unique one-off pieces, mostly engagement and wedding rings.
My passion for nature and the environment is a constant influence on both my life and my business and wherever possible I work in recycled gold and silver, always using ethically sourced metals and stones. Everything I make is done so using traditional hand tools and techniques, and I’m always looking for new ways to keep my business as “green” as possible. Recently these have included switching to green energy and joining my local car share scheme.

Crown and Glory
Off the hook hair things for quirky brides who don’t want to break open their piggy bank to look fabulous. Visit us to try the latest Rock n Roll Bride for Crown and Glory collection of veils and bridesmaid accessories, and a selection of classic Crown and Glory flower crowns and accessories.
In early 2011, Sophie King had a problem. Floating in her mind was the image of the perfect hair accessory: delicate feathers, hand painted to form a single butterfly. Why was this a problem? Because such a thing just didn’t exist! Well, they say that if you want a job done well you should do it yourself, and that’s exactly what Sophie did. The result of that first spontaneous project was Crown and Glory.
In Summer 2013, Crown and Glory teamed up with queen of alt weddings, Kat Williams of Rock n Roll Bride, to create a range of alternative bridal hair accessories, for girls who believe that life’s too short to wear the sartorial equivalent of a potato sack and that accessories maketh the outfit. In 2014, due to popular demand, they released a collection of accessories for bridesmaids, and introduced new product lines – belts and cuffs – into their repertoire.
These days, Sophie is joined by her partner in crime Gareth, who spends his days being the only glitter-covered, rugby-playing, hair accessory production manager in the UK (probably) Together they design and manufacture Crown and Glory’s cute-as a button animal ears, loud and proud floral crowns and more sparkly bows than you can shake a stick at from their cosy Cornish studio.

Hard Felt Designs
I’m a vintage loving geek with a sewing machine. I hand make hen party stuff and accessories that have nothing to do with tradition and everything to do with awesomeness.
Sashes and accessories are made to order to match your party theme and incorporate any personal details to make them extra special. They can be anything you want, if you want a rockabilly, Star Wars, steampunk, Harry Potter, Batman, My Little Pony or Game of Thrones I can do that!
So why hen parties? When I was thinking about my own hen party I almost didn’t have one because I couldn’t stand the thought of L-plates and penis straws. But I thought that it is an important rite of passage and I did want to do it but on my terms.
So I ditched the tack and decided that I wanted a vintage themed weekend with photo-shoot and make-overs. I didn’t want an off the shelf package so I went about looking for the companies who could do what I wanted and mashed all those bits together for the perfect weekend.
I’m glad to say that hen parties have progressed a bit since then but when you look for hen party stuff you still get bombarded with L-plates, pink plastic, phallic shaped, mass produced tat.

Maison De Cantern
Hi my name is Barbara and I am the designer maker at Maison de Cantern. Having a love of vintage fashion, especially from the 1920s, 30s and 40s, when a hat or evening hair clasp were considered essential to complete your outfit, my unique designs are inspired by the past but with a new twist, and therefore complement both vintage and modern styling.
I adore both the whimsical and the beautiful and love to use materials I have collected over the years, like beads and buttons from ‘mom’s button box’, and blend them with new fabric, feathers, lace and anything else I can ‘acquire’ that catches my eye.
I design and create my hats in Bridgnorth in the beautiful county of Shropshire.
My hope is that you will derive as much pleasure from wearing one of my hats as I do from creating them.

Vikki Lafford Garside
Hi, I’m Vikki and like many young girls, I always dreamt of being a princess in a fairy tale, with sparkling crystal slippers and beautiful, flowing gowns of the most sumptuous fabrics, adorned with exquisite embroidery and embellishment. I imagined a world of fairies and woodland creatures inhabiting the gloomy depths of the Cotswold countryside in which I spent my childhood.
My love of such folklore along with a passion for art and textiles was always a huge inspiration and it led me to achieve a degree in Embroidery in 2002. Following the degree I worked as an embroidery designer and in 2006 I returned to education and gained an MA in Textile Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design. There I created my first collection of dresses based on old, more brutal and sinister versions of popular fairy tales.
Now working as a designer-maker, I am still inspired by the fairy tales, folklore and nature I appreciated as a child. I create feminine, elegantly detailed, hand crafted accessories, adornments and wearable art from a variety of fabrics, adorned with intricate embroidery and embellishments. I mix traditional hand stitch and hand painting with digital techniques of stitch and print. My work develops from initial drawings and studies and then passes through many processes of dye, print, stitch, cutwork and heat manipulation that focus on craft and attention to detail.
One-of-a-kind creations for colourful creatures. Specialising in themed & vintage-inspired custom headdresses. Handmade with love & imagination in Wales.
